Most often I groom bichons (Maltese and Havanese), yorkshires, shih tzus, fox terriers and mixed breeds, but I also work with large dogs. I do breed-standard and custom cuts, taking each dog's coat into account.

I groom cats too. Cat prices depend on the service: full haircut 140 lei, full package 180 lei (full haircut + bath + drying + nail trimming + ear cleaning).

Dog grooming subscription in Ploiești, with a reserved evening slot
Your dog always well groomed, at a fixed price. For people who work until the afternoon: no need to take time off for a grooming appointment.

How it works
- You pay at the first visit of each cycle; the second visit is already paid for. Payment is made at the salon, in cash or by card. You get a fiscal receipt.
- The subscription lasts at least 2 cycles (12 weeks); after that you can renew it if you wish.
- Optional: pay for 3 months at once (2 cycles) and get an extra 5% off.
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance, otherwise the visit counts as done.
- A visit can be rescheduled only once. Payments are not refunded.
- You get a subscription card, on which we tick off every payment and every visit.

If you are retired, we make it easier to care for your dog: simple booking by phone and a printed loyalty card.

The Little Responsible Owner
Bring your child to the groom! Children learn why and when a dog needs care, together with Toto and Jolie, the dogs on our logo.
Diploma
At the end, the child receives the “Little Responsible Owner” diploma, filled in and signed by Dea.
The little owner's card
A card where the child ticks off what they did for the dog each day: fresh water, food, a walk, brushing, play, praise and cuddles.
Safety first
The child only helps with safe things: brushing, petting, treats. They never touch the scissors or the clippers.

About Dea, veterinary technician: dog and cat grooming
My name is Andreea, but everyone calls me Dea.
I'm from Ploiești and I'm a veterinary technician, with a dog and cat grooming course completed in 2021, here in Ploiești. I started all this 5 years ago, out of love for animals, and for 4 years I have worked with them every day.
For almost two and a half years I worked as a veterinary technician in a veterinary clinic. So far I have groomed a few hundred dogs and cats. Many clients there asked only for me to groom their pets, and that convinced me to open my own salon.
Which dogs I groom
My favourite is the bichon: I love how the coat settles after the bath and the special head cut. A yorkshire cut doesn't suit a bichon, and a cut for straight hair doesn't work on curly hair.
Anxious, restless or elderly dogs
Because I'm a veterinary technician, I've worked with all kinds of dogs: anxious, aggressive, elderly or with health problems. With calm, patience and pampering, most of them become friendly during the groom.
Benny, a bichon who usually bit, ended up kissing me throughout the whole groom. His owner couldn't believe it when I brought him back in my arms.
Products and routine
I use only professional shampoos, conditioners and fragrances, suited to their skin and coat, to avoid allergies. I recommend grooming about every 6 weeks and a hygiene trim once a month. If the coat is left too long, it gets matted; then grooming hurts and often the only solution is shaving down to the skin.
Toto and Jolie
The salon is a family business and is named after my dogs: Toto, a 5-year-old Maltese bichon, and Jolie, a 9-year-old Havanese bichon mix. They are also on the Dea Pet logo.

My dog is anxious. Is that OK?
Yes. As a veterinary technician, Dea has worked with anxious, aggressive, elderly dogs and dogs with health problems. She works calmly, patiently and with plenty of pampering.
Can I stay with my dog during the groom?
Usually owners do not stay, because many dogs get restless when they see their owner. The exception is very aggressive dogs.
How do I book?

Are you open on Sundays?
No. The salon is closed on Sundays and public holidays. On Thursdays we are open until 19:00.
Can I pay by card?
Yes. You can pay in cash or by card at the salon, including for the subscription. You get a fiscal receipt.

No. Extra services (dematting, nail trimming, ear cleaning, anal gland expression) are paid separately. External parasite treatment and dental brushing will be offered in the future.
